Park, then open Jeda
Connect your phone to the car and open Jeda from the Android Auto app menu.
Tap YouTube
YouTube is a built-in shortcut. The site opens full screen on the car display.
Or search on your phone
Type with your phone’s keyboard, tap Play in car, and the video opens in the car at the same spot.

- Open Maps and the video carries on. The media card shows its title and thumbnail, with Pause and Play. Tap the card to return to the same spot.

Can I watch YouTube on Android Auto?
Yes, with Jeda, while your car is parked. Jeda adds YouTube as a shortcut on your Android Auto screen. In testing, the browser closes when driving restrictions start and does not reopen on its own.
Does the video stop when I open Maps?
No. YouTube keeps playing beside Maps, and the media card gives you Pause and Play. Tap the card to go back to the video.
Do I need YouTube Premium?
No. Jeda opens the YouTube website. If you have YouTube Premium, sign in on your phone and your account is used in the car too.
Do I need an APK, root, or screen mirroring?
